Let me just say I am obsessed with Eric Michael shoes! I stumbled across the brand when searching for a pair of comfortable block heel booties and was instantly drawn to the gorgeous Italian styling. I decided to take a chance and order the Carmelita booties. When they arrived I was thrilled! The leather quality is superb and they fit like they were made for my feet. The chunky heel is easy to walk in and provides just enough lift. I've been living in the Carmelitas, wearing them to work and on weekends. They make any outfit look instantly polished. I also appreciate that Eric Michael shoes are handmade in Italy. The craftsmanship is obvious! I'm excited to purchase more styles soon. If you want fashionable shoes that feel as good as they look, Eric Michael is a winner in my book.

The sneakers are certainly fashionable looking with quality leather, but the comfort factor I was hoping for just isn't there. In the future I may try a different Eric Michael style better suited to problem feet, but the Danilea sneakers are just average in terms of comfort.

Based on my preliminary at-home wear tests, the Evita flats have excellent potential to become a pain-free wardrobe staple. I look forward to monitoring their performance with repeated all-day wear. Initial impressions indicate the Eric Michael brand lives up to its reputation for combining European style with American comfort.
